About South Korea..

South Korea, a small divided country which was made in 1953. However made a great progress within 10 years, and now have too many human resources. Now, it is considered if someone from South Korea don't go to university, isn't considered even a human.. What do you think about South Korea, is it a great country to live, or a place more like hell..?

Hmm..I wouldn't say a great country neither a place like hell..
Never been there though, but I don't think I would like to live there =/

You never know until you try it, Tom. Personally, I think every country has something great to offer, whether it be it's landscape, history, or anything significant to you. If you asked someone whether they thought their country was great or troublesome, most would choose 'troublesome'. They've lived there for a while, and grown tired and bored of the same things over and over. It's like how most teens and young adults are adventurous and dream of traveling to favored countries. It's not until you actually live or vacation elsewhere that you begin to realize the greatness and comfort of your country. I mean, you'll have things you really loved in a foreign country, but like the saying goes: There's no place like home. :]
Of course the "It's not until you actually live elsewhere that you begin to realize the greatness and comfort of your country" doesn't apply if you moved to another country at an extremely young age. Because then you can't remember shit :[. This is just my opinion though guys lol, chill Razz

Well..the reason I probably wouldn't want to live there is because of the difference in cultures. As far as I know mainly everything's different in Korea than in Belgium.
For example..school, (not sure) but they probably have to wear uniforms (don't eat me if I'm wrong about that) and in Belgium, we never need wear them. That's just one example. Like I said, their whole culture is different from mine. Ofcourse, that's the same thing in every country, but the differences are smaller in countries near to mine, if you know what I mean =/

I'd love to visit south korea one day. NEVER NORTH (damn kimjong for ruining everything) you can't even enter the place...

but anyways
Besides Japan, koreans are sort of the latest fangirl craze, with big bang, epik high, and super junior. 2PM & 2AM (i really don't know, my friends srsly put it on their facebook statuses too much).
I might like korean clothing.

super junior consists of 13 members. lol.

anyways, like shelly i'd like to visit south korea next time after i start working and got $$$. would like to experience their culture. they really respect their traditions and stuff. visiting their countryside might be cool as well. in my country(singapore) theres almost no farmers. (or is there any at all?)

@Tom, its the difference in culture that should make you want to travel to other countries. if the culture is too similar, whats the point? its just like staying in your own country just that u don't know the place well.

and yea, korean stuffs are like the latest craze right now.

Well..the thing is..I mostly don't feel very comfortable in other countries. =/
Main reason: Different language(s), I hate it when I can't talk to them.
Ofcourse, some people will speak English as well..but still. :s

Tom, that's the whole point of travelling.
it doesn't require you to understand korean, if you travel to korea most likely they'll know there are tourists.

Wow... Never Considered that many people like Korean things... I hate my own country in fact... I just think this world is corrupted and unuseful... More like a ragged peice of rug... I realy hate this country... This world I lived was never balance... Overall I consider is that patriotism Koreans have, Compared to North Korea, is the most falso thing I've ever seen.. It's a fraud... Anyway.. That's my way of looking Korea..^^;; Thank you all for your opinions... I loved reading it. ㅇㅅㅇ~~

Not sure, but I think many people hate their own country, me included, a lot of things could've been done so much better, it would only make things easier for all the people.
Also...Many people from other countries came to live here (in Belgium) and NO, I'M NOT A RACIST. But many of the 'outsiders' took jobs from the 'insiders'. And some other things.
I don't even feel safe in the street I'm living in, there live many aggresive people near me. (Not only 'oustiders'...'insiders' as well...)
I'm also not saying it's different in other countries, but it's hard to put this in words...It's worse than you might think.

Well..Idk but USA seems fine (as far as I've seen in movies lol) cept for the 'gangs' (if they actually are violent like in movies >.> )
